Here’s what you’ll need:

1 x Northcote Pottery Saxon Tall U Pot (55cm x 68cm)
2 x Bags Quality Potting Mix
1 x Cordyline ‘Torbay Dazzler’
1 x Serruria ‘Lemon Honey’
1 x Agave ‘Variegata’
1 x Phormium ‘Lemon Wave’
1 x Acorus ‘Variegata’
1 x Portulacaca ‘Variegata’
1 x Euphorbia ‘Tasmanian Tiger’

Big bold pots shine with a striking collection of big bold plants. Start by planting Cordyline ‘Torbay Dazzler’ towards the back of the container. It has a lovely upright habit and decorative green and cream striped foliage. Surround the Cordyline with the beautiful Agave ‘Variegata’, which makes a stunning architectural statement and Serruria ‘Lemon Honey’ in the same citrus and green tones. Tuck Phormium ‘Lemon Wave’ into the side of the pot, it makes a decorative foliage feature year-round with its attractive arching green and gold leaves. Then create layers of strappy leafed foliage with the smaller growing Acorus ‘Variegata’ that forms beautiful tufts of variegated leaves. Complete your potted picture with the stripey Euphorbia ‘Tasmanian Tiger’ and Portulaca ‘Variegata’, with pretty two-tone foliage and contrasting red-brown stems.

Tip: Pick a foliage tone and work it through every element of the design. In this potted combo lime green foliage is the star of the show.
