Container gardening expert Melissa King shows you how to create a succulent dry loving combo that will light up your patio or balcony.
Here’s what you’ll need:
1 x Northcote Pottery Montague Bowl
1 x bag of quality potting mix
1 x Echeveria 'Cool Vue'
3 x Dwarf Variegated Agapanthus
6 x Assorted Sedums in pink and blue tones
I love the look created here with Northcote Pottery's crisp white Montague Bowl set against cooling blue and hot pink tones. Start by planting Echeveria 'Cool Vue' at the centre of the bowl. It has succulent ice-blue and pink foliage and flowers, which set the tone for the whole planting scheme.
Then alternate Dwarf Variegated Agapanthus, with attractive two-toned strappy foliage, with Sedums in pink and blue tones, to form a circle around the Echeveria.
Tip: Position it in a sunny spot for a low maintenance, dry tolerant combo that will look great all year round.
Happy Container Gardening!
